Supporting women and moms through parenthood and life transitions.

Judgement-free space for women and moms.

Let’s be real—parenting in today’s world is challenging.

Motherhood is beautiful, but it’s also messy, whether you’re a new mom or a veteran mom. It is one of the hardest roles you’ll ever take on and sometimes we unknowingly lose ourselves in the process. From sleepless nights and feelings of isolation to juggling work deadlines, daycare pickups, and being their chauffeur, the challenges can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re a working mom balancing professional responsibilities and family life, a stay-at-home mom managing endless tasks, or a woman navigating the heartache of infertility or the grief of pregnancy loss, the weight of it all can feel like too much to carry alone, but you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Here, you can share your vulnerabilities, fears, and successes through meaningful conversation, all while learning to embrace your strengths and become a better version of yourself.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression as a mom is far more common than people often admit. Motherhood, while deeply fulfilling, brings immense pressure. You’re responsible for another life, and the expectations—whether from society, family, or even yourself—can feel crushing. Add to that the physical exhaustion, lack of sleep, hormonal changes, and the fact that your life has probably changed drastically, and it’s no wonder these feelings arise.

  • Feeling constantly exhausted and stressed as a mom is completely normal—though it’s often not talked about enough. Parenting is a 24/7 job, with no real breaks, and the mental, emotional, and physical toll can pile up fast. If you’re feeling like you’re always running on empty, it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong—it means you’re human. You deserve a break and to be heard.

  • Struggling to balance your personal life with motherhood is something so many moms go through. It can feel like the moment you became a mom, your personal life, your time, and sometimes even your identity shift to the back burner. But here’s the thing—it’s completely normal to find it hard to juggle everything, especially when it feels like the needs of your family are always taking priority.

  • Feeling like you’ve lost your sense of self to motherhood is something so many moms experience, but it’s rarely talked about openly. When you become a mom, your whole world shifts, and it can feel like the person you were before kids gets buried under the responsibilities and demands of caring for someone else. If you’re feeling like you don’t recognize yourself anymore or that your identity is wrapped up entirely in being a mom, you’re not alone.

Take a deep breath. help is here.

I believe you deserve to be seen, heard, and cared for as a woman.

I’m Caitlyn, a New Jersey based Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who focuses on women’s health and motherhood. I believe happy parents raise happy kids. Women and mothers are often faced with unique sets of challenges that can feel overwhelming and isolating. My goal is to help you put your oxygen mask on first before you care for your little people or anyone else you love. At Nurture Her Therapy, I understand that motherhood is a profound and transformative experience.

How I can help

I specialize in solution focused therapy for women and moms to support a life they deserve.

  • Trauma is described as a confusing and upsetting event that has occurred in someone’s life. This can include birth trauma, death of a spouse/child, chronic illness, etc. No matter the event, we work together to help build resiliency to cope with the event and increase daily functioning.

  • Grief and loss are deeply personal and complex experiences that can hit hard, especially in the context of motherhood. I want you to know that it’s okay to feel a mix of emotions during this journey. While grief is often linked to death, in motherhood, it can also be about mourning parts of yourself, your past life, or the dreams you had for your family. I’ve seen so many women struggle with the realization that motherhood doesn’t always look like the ideal they had in mind. It’s vital to recognize that grief isn’t limited to traditional losses; it can show up in many forms and often feels confusing because it’s intertwined with joy, love, and the weight of responsibility.

Therapy can be an incredibly helpful tool in navigating these feelings. I understand how heavy the burden of grief can feel, whether it’s the loss of personal freedom, your sense of identity, or even the heart-wrenching experience of losing a child. Here, you can process these feelings in a compassionate environment, allowing yourself to be vulnerable and honest about your experiences.

  • Infertility can feel like an emotional whirlwind, and I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating it can be. The journey often brings a mix of hope and heartache, leaving you to grapple with profound feelings of loss and confusion. It’s not just about the physical challenge of trying to conceive; it’s about mourning the life you envisioned for yourself and the family you’ve dreamed of.

I am here as a lifeline during your journey with infertility, providing the support and understanding that is often desperately needed.

  • Life transitions can be incredibly impactful for women, often reshaping how we see ourselves and our place in the world. Whether it’s becoming a mother, changing careers, navigating relationship shifts as a result of divorce, dealing with an empty nest, transitioning from stay-at-home mom to working mom—or vice versa—or facing health changes, each transition brings a unique mix of emotions that can leave you feeling a bit lost and in need of support.

For working moms, the shift to balancing a career while maintaining your role at home can feel overwhelming, as you juggle the demands of both worlds and redefine your identity. Similarly, for stay at home moms, stepping back into a full-time caregiving role, feelings of isolation or questions of self-worth may arise.

While life transitions can be tough, they can also lead to profound personal growth. You don’t have to navigate these changes alone. We can work together to provide understanding and develop the tools you need to thrive in your evolving journey. Embracing these changes with the right guidance can help you discover new possibilities and a renewed sense of self.
