  • I currently only offer telehealth services as many of my clients prefer the convenience and comfortability of teletherapy sessions.

  • It’s easy! I send you a private HIPPA compliant link and we video chat at the convenience of the location you choose.

  • All of my services are private pay. Sessions are $225 and I require a valid credit card on file and payment on the date of service. I will also provide you a superbill that you can submit to insurance to assist with reimbursement. It is important you make an informed decision about paying out-of-pocket for therapy.

I partner with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

    Mentaya is perfect if you:

    • Have out of network benefits

    • Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance

    • Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement

    • Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork!

    Here's how it works:

    1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/cwGe97Z6E2TDOl5C9mjq

    2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.

    3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.

    4. You get reimbursed by insurance!

Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.

It's risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.

If you choose not to use Mentaya then many health plans do reimburse their members for receiving services out-of-network. I recommend calling your health plan’s member services line to ask if you have out-of-network benefits. The questions to ask your health plan are:

    1. Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health?

    2. Are the following CPT codes covered services: 90791, 90834, 90837, 90846, 90847?

    3. What is the reimbursement rate that I can expect if I submit a receipt/”superbill”?

    4. How do I submit superbills for potential reimbursement?

If you decide you need an in-network provider, I suggest contacting your health plan to request a list of local in-network options.

I do not accept insurance nor contract with any insurance health plans.  I am considered out-of-network or a non-participating provider. Which means that you pay for the services rather than have it covered by insurance. It is important you make an informed decision about paying out-of-pocket for therapy.

  • I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any appointments that are canceled late or no showed for will be charged the full session fee.

  • Great question! The answer is, it depends!

My clients start with weekly therapy until we get to know each other and clarify your goals and objectives.

I recommend committing to at least 6 months of therapy, though the duration can vary depending on your goals. Some individuals may need more or less time. With extensive experience in both short-term and long-term therapy, I tailor the process to meet your specific needs.

  • Of course you can! That is perk of telehealth sessions. You do not need to stress about caring for your baby while in session. I expect moms to do what they need to do to care for their babies. If you need to feed, change, or comfort your baby during session, then please do. We support moms AND babies.
